I experienced my first StoryWalk® at the Sturgis Library in Barnstable, Massachusetts while visiting my sister. As a children's book author, I thought it was a fun and creative way to encourage reading while also enjoying the outdoors. I loved how it could be enjoyed by children of all ages whether as a reader or a listener. It inspired me to bring StoryWalks® to my community.

 

​StoryWalk Houston is funded locally by a private grant. It is offered as a community service by volunteers.
