FAQs

How does the StoryWalk® work?

Laminated story boards from a children’s picture book are placed along a path in a park or garden. The boards are numbered to make it easy to follow. Read the story, page by page, as you follow the path.

Do we have to buy the book and bring it to the walk?

No! The pages from the book are mounted on large boards attached to a frame that is installed into the ground or attached to a fence. Follow the path and read the story along the way.

For what age is StoryWalk® recommended?

The book selections are meant for children of all ages to enjoy. Adults, caretakers or older siblings can read the story to younger children.
